Well today I went down to the emissions testing facilitys and had my car emision tested............ I had a strait flow muffler (rice pipe) on it and I passed it with my 1995 ford contour.......... i put my silencer in it and I couldn't belive it passed so many people said I wouldn't pass...........my individual test results were.........

emissions (I/M 240):
HC 0.8000 passed
CO 15.0000 passed
NOx 2.0000 passed

Pressurization of gas cap: passed

Anyone know how close I am on the reading for not passing?

Check what the state laws are in WI for emissions

might be a site to look at

ok they dpnt tell you actual reading unless you fail the test
and also a muffler isnt a emissioned control device so you could go without one and it will pass
my old gp had straight pipes from the cat back and it passed everytime
HC,CO,NOx have the same guideling for every kind of car hope that helps
