So i'm just popping in to say hi...i've been in Arizona for a month now. I am full-time at Arizona State University...and loving it. Made a ton of new friends...and i'm a staff member of the ASU SnowDevils snowboard club. We're headed to Crested Butte for 6 days including slopeside lodging in a couple of months...just a little FYI for you boarders out there! Besides work and other activities I'm on a coed intramural volleyball team. we've won every game so far (fingers crossed)...that'* my life. still waiting for an invite to see bob and ben race at Firebird Raceway. let me know ahead of time guys. life is crazy right now. seems like things continue to hum along on the club. like the energizer bunny.

Remember, track days at Firebird are on Friday nights and Saturday at Speedworld.

Now that the weather has begun to cool down, Ben and I are thinking more and more about hitting the track up, soon. In fact, I may go to Firebird this Friday if some of the GP guys end up going and the weather stays like it is. I usually don't know unitl sometime on Friday if I am going or not. You need to send me a phone number so I can call you and let you know when we are doing something.

On Saturday, September 30, I will be heading over to Speedworld with the gang, for sure.

Ben and I went to the Pavillion'* car show last Saturday, and Ben was very impressed. I know Saturday'* are not good for you, though, but we should chat to see what days/times work for you.

He is itching to go, but the 100* temps really are not much fun. Now that we are dipping into the 70* at night, evening 1/4 mile runs are becoming very attractive

We'll get him there.....I mean, c'mon....two 1/4 mile stips within a 45 minute drive is way to tempting for anyone with the desire. He won't be able to wait much longer.

Crested Butt, eh? Pht. Make the drive to Salt Lake City. You can stay right in town and have access to half a dozen world class resorts within 30 minutes driving time.

i am headed to crested because we get 6 days/5 nights slopeside lodging...coach ride there and back...for $450. not too shabby! DEFINITELY borrow that board! i'm sure you'll love it...if you're into the terrain park. as for me...um...backcountry freeride all the way!!!
