I say use the Stang instead of the Cavalier. Just my vote, though. Y'all can't reinforce the doors or anything?

How come the horn don't play the "I'm Lovin' It'" song?? JC Whitney used to sell a cheap programmable horn...

Bump and Run sounds almost exactly like the dirt track racing we did when I was in school, except we weren't supposed to knock people out of our way....

You find some tires yet? I have some fairly meaty snow tires on 15" steel rims (the rims are even painted red) from my 90 Lumina (IDK if that is the same bolt circle as a cavi or not). You could have them if you want, but I am out of state still so you would have to come get them, in Beaverton area. Probably not worth the gas $ if you can find some local though. Just thought I'd toss it out there anyway.

Well the race was today...

Jeff (the driver) actually did a lot better than anyone expected (even himself). First thing for the day was the Pretty Car Contest. It'* free to enter, so we thought aw hell why not. And we won. Got a trophy that says Alpena County Fair Bump N Run 2007 Best of Show

Then next was his heat. He started off kinda slow but by the end of the first lap he was in second place. Then a car rolled, so the race stopped until everything was okay. Then when they started again he pulled out into first, and was in first the entire race until the last lap about half way around the car started crapping out, and he made it to about 20 ft from the finish line, and it wouldn't move any further

So we fixed it up and put it into the Junk Heat. And that one is just for fun, just to beat the crap out of the cars. He only made it about 2 laps and the motor gave for good.

I'll try and get some pics of the damage tomorrow before we take it to the crusher.
