Hit 85 here, threw my tune way off.... time to start over. Also time to start my new project. 1980 Honda Goldwing 1100 Interstate. It'* been sitting for 6 years, but a few repairs and a tune up should hopefully get her running.

You will end up with 3 or 4 tunes for each season, plus several track tunes.

The vette officially yours? That would be pretty darn nice.

With your mods.. you will be fighting traction even at the track. I'm thinking of the differences between our cars at the time I ran the conservative 13.185 1/4 mile. You should be able to pull off some mid 13'*, not sure if you can get enough bite on the pavement to do the low 13'* yet. We have serious traction issues. Do you have spring blockers or anything beyond the air struts in the back to help with weight transfer? If so, low 13'* should be close or attainable. If you can lauch better than I did and get some very cold air (40*F that night), you could pull into the high 12'*.

If I look at my time, all the mistakes I had on the tune, tire pressure, 60' etc etc, theoretically the car could have pulled a 12.8 that night. With the right conditions... I have a good feeling the SS IC gives you about the same or a little less cool air than a Gen V. It'* tough to say w/o testing them side by side.

When'* the track run? all this talk has me jonesin...

When I'm at the track I'll be on slicks, that will help a lot. Also I'm running with a 3000 stall TC, another plus in the traction department. I still need to get spring blockers, but really I want to lower the car about a inch first. I figure I should hit low 13s if I can drive OK, if I can drive real good and get a good bit, high 12s is my goal. Not bad at all for a 4 door grandpa car. I'm hopping in the next month or two I can get to the track once.
