pet dander and dust mites...

was tested... anyone ever been tested to see what allergies they have??? if so.. explain the testing :D

Allergic to dust, mold, mildew, dogs, and I think cats. Yet I grew up around dogs, and I also have a couple of cats. They are all slight allergies, nothing big. Oh and feathers, I used to always sleep with feather pillows.

My guess is that when I was being tested for allergies ( since I had some nasty reactions to some medication), that my body developed allergies to things I am around for too long.

That reaction to the medication, boy that was nuts. I woke up in the morning, my hands were about 4 times the normal size and my face was twice to 3 times it's size. Good thing it didn't affect my throat, looked like I was in a fight.

When I was tested, they used my arms. they placed drops of common things that people are allergic to and then once the drop was on my arm, they picked my arm to let the liquid get into my blood, then sent me home and I had to go back either the next day or the day after ( was a while ago, I can't remember the details). Not something you want to be out in public with after the testing, you have track marks on both arms ( like you have been injecting yourself), makes people wonder.

I'm allergic to Naturally Aspirated engines.. I just didn't know that until this past Saturday.
:smileycolors: :bband: :bouncingsmiles:

Seriously though, I'm not allergic to anything. Comes from playing in the dirt alot when I was a kid. Good strong immune system.

I'm allergic to Morphine (and I guess any other opiate) and Keflex/Cephalexin antibiotic. I found out I was allergic to Morphine after I woke up from getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I looked at my arms, they had hives, I half consciencely asked the nurse what was going on, she freaked and changed my IV.

I have mild alergies to dust and pet dander, but that isn't too out of the ordinary....

Just the usual dust, pollen and things of the like. During season changes (Especially Summer to Fall) I wake up every single morning sneezing my face off. It really sucks.

Both my fiance and I are mildly allergic to cats. We have two. I suppose that would explain why he snores! I don't snore, thankfully...I once stayed up all night to find out, and didn't snore once! </bad joke from the Three Stooges>

The only allergy I know I have is to evergreens. Pine, cedar, juniper, etc. Can't get it on my skin, the pollen kills my eyes and sinuses....

Makes Xmas time loads of fun

Just poison ivy. And until I was mid twenties I wasn't allergic to it.

All of you under 30... realize, your body is still changing..it will continue until you die. And finding out about poision ivy when you've never gotten it for 25 years really sucks.
