Oh bummer. If mine didn't work I'd be SOL for sure. The wierd (or not?) thing about the GA is that the releases for the rear seats are in the trunk...therefore useless in such a case as mine. not true, before my friend totalled his grand am i had sat int he back seat plenty of times, and one time the back seat was pretty messy and i wanted to put it all in the turnk, i managed to squeeze my arm back there and pull the release, and i dont have skinny arms

Release in the Grand Am you say? When did they start doing that? Our Grand Am has little straps you can pull in the backseat that just pull them down. It is a '94...

That'* what I mean by "release"-the little strap thingies. Nerv, I'm not sure how you did that...wow. It wouldn't work in my car, I don't think. Even if you could squeeze your arm in the trunk, you'd have to reach pretty far back to get to the release straps.
