Default Stupid ebayers

I just sold this car locally:

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...=577130#577130

I had it on ebay. A guy came over with $3,050. Of course, I sold it.

I tried to pull the auction early. Ebay doesn't allow it because it ends within 12 hours. That'* OK. I don't agree with it, but what am I gonna do about it??

So, their suggestion was to cancel every bid that comes in on it. I have been doing that. The "buyers" get an email with why I cancelled the bid. Furthermore, I've been getting lots of questions because the price is so low. So, I respond to the question and post the respons in the auction indicating not to bid. (You can't revise the auction in the last 12 hours, either).

So, these same numbskulls keep on bidding on the car even though it'* posted in the answers to several questions that the car is unavailable AND they've gotten numerious emails indicating that I cancelled the bid because it sold locally.

Some people'* kids....

That would be great! I'm watching this very closely. I'll have to eat the ebay commission if it'* greater than $.01, but lesson learned.

No. I can't make ANY revisions. It'* locked down. And, ebay employees (the people on the other end of the chat) can't/won't make a revision to it because they can't accept the responsibility. I understand the policy. These people that just keep bidding are killing me.

It doesn't bother me that it went low. I got it low and was happy to pass it on for a low price. Everyone wins that way. Plus, the guy was estatic with it! That always makes you feel good, too.
