Default Study = Fail

Now that I gave you the answer here'* the equation

No Study = Fail
+ Study = No Fail
-----------------------
No Study + Study = Fail + No Fail

(No+1)Study = (No+1)Fail

therefore

Study=Fail

which would explain why I suck at school

As a guy who just graduated college last May, I can promise you it feels so good to get done and know that you're done writing papers, reading stupid things you don't want to read, and listening to mindless lectures. Some of that stuff was fun, but most of it was boring and tedious. When I graduated there was a huge feeling of relief, plus the ability for me to say I have a bachelor'* degree. Make it through and you'll be a better person for it.

Then you can go find a job you like. Heck, I get to buzz around in airplanes! I'm not getting paid for it yet, but it'* only a matter of time. It'* just so nice to be done with the college degree aspect.

big_news....are you implicating that there is a day when you no longer have to take tests, listen to lectures, and study? I was beginning to believe it was all blasphemy. I long for this day....

Yes, Logan, the day will come when all that is silly and frivolous in college shall end. Of course, the fun parts (friends, intramurals, parties, sleeping in on weekdays, etc.) will end with it. But if you find something you like to do for a living, your day-to-day will still be plenty of fun.

And actually, I still have to take tests and study quite a bit. It just doesn't seem half as bad as the useless mumbo jumbo I was taught by some professors. For now, I like life after college better than life during college.

Suck it up Rob. Look at this way, I'm never going to leave school EVER. I'm studying to be a teacher which will keep me in school though the tables has turned around and they're the students and I'm the teacher but I'll still be in school tho. Damn it.

Thanks for the encouragement, I am not giving up or anything but a friend had that up on her bulletin board and I found it quite ironic and funny because its how I feel a lot of times.

I know that there is an end to it but the light at the end of the tunnel is a lot farther away when you are in the tunnel and someone(school) keeps closing the logical tunnel and opening a longer harder one.

fuel, that is because school is something you enjoy. You have to like the enviroment and such. If I was being educated/doing things I enjoyed/related to what I enjoy, then it would be different.

but I guess I should do my homework...book report, 2 labs, regular homework, a few readings, and some studying....
