i think the server synchronized its clock, and basically moved the time back so that everything we were doing was conflicting with the posts that had already been recorded in the database. and now that we have come out the over lapsed time, everything is back to normal.

but umm, whats with the server running its time too fast anyways? the sync ALWAYS slows it DOWN. if it were speeding it up then we wouldn't notice anything. odd.
