I'll post pics of my torque curve for you guys from the G-Tech. I got the G-Tech pretty darn accurate now and the torque curve isn't really a "curve" on the L27 either.

The track was Luskville, in Quebec.

Hey tiger, I still havent heard what you run at the track, come on spill the beans :P

Id be interested to know if a Dry kit is worth the $ for an L27, or a gen 1 3.1L

The l27'* torque peak is much lower. But a series II will take it on the freeway. L27'* will spin them easier too, Subtle differences for sure.

The only series I offered in 1995 were supercharged cars, so i'd check that info... Fantastic99, i'm back in lakeville, so sometime maybe we can putz around and figure something out.

Yea Jason, I kinda want to see that L27 you have in you're garage. I'll let you drive my car so you can see how much of a dog it is. I wish I would have bid on that LSS, got that 3.06 axle and all.

Stylez has run a 16.5 i think, and that was having to stay out of WOT from a bad fuel pump thru most of the run.... If you can launch these right, you're good.

16.8 actually. My 60' was a 2.275 (don't have my time slip right here to verify, but I know I've have that on one of my slips). I never did get a 1/4 with a WOT run all the way. In fact after the 60' I never got more than 1/2 throttle so it was shifting well before red-line. I had to let up just after the 60' and kept letting out until about 300' feet from the traps, and when I hit the traps I had been on my brakes for probably 1/2 second or so.

My best 1/8 time was a 10.1 @ 74.xx mph.

I hope to take Ol Blue to the track this summer with her good fuel pump if I don't sell Ol Blue here soon (still need $$$ to do the front brakes and figure out what is EXACTLY causing the SES light -scanned codes awhile back, but need to do so again as I didn't write them down).

My friend just bought a 1995 Regal GS. Sadly I didn't get to go for a ride in it (was up in Grand Forks, ND where he'* attending UND). :(
Those cars are pretty quick as they are about 250 lbs lighter than a Bonne, especially in a Custom or Limited.
But I did get to do some pimpin on the way back as I was driving his 1989 Ford Tempo. Geez I got more girls looking, smiling and waving in 5 blocks than I ever have in my 1999 SSEi -guess I'll be getting myself a Tempo now.
