Default still here in afghanistan

Dont have a lot to do around here in the evenings and this is just about my only contact with the out side world...I just moved to a new camp, it is kinda weird here, but I cant complain, we have showers, hot chow, phones and internet (time limit of 30 mins). I still get a little bored...and start getting all crazy from time to time...but it looks like I will be here for a little while....I know no one here realy knows me...but like I said...bored...not much contact with the world...yadda yadda.....guess I am killing time.

Jake,
I think I know you. You are a member of our military. You are making sacrifices to defend our freedom to be here back in the States. Some of these sacrifices are more than any of us could ever imagine, or even do ourselves. You are, simply put, a Hero, and I'm honored to make your acquaintance. Please allow me to say Thank You for all you do for us and our country. If I ever meet you in person, I'd like to reiterate the thanks and shake your hand. Here'* one on me... ...come back home safe and soon.

Default thanks

Hurst, no thanks or kudos needed, but they are apreacieated, sometimes, its just nice to know there are still a few people out there like your self. I joined the Army and I knew what I was getting into...I do it because I chose to...and do not expect any body to "pat me on the back" but when they do....it makes it a bit easier to wake up for the next few days.....thanks

Hey Jake.

Thanks for posting! I echo Hurst'* comments. You are a man of honor and I'm proud to talk to you.

I'd love to share a beer with ya... but since I can't do that... please let us know if there is anything that you need.

God bless.

Tim

I feel like I'm jumping on the bandwagon, but how often do you get to thank someone who is risking it all? Thank you, Jake. I don't quite know how to say it any other way. I too appreciate what you are doing, even though I wouldn't have balls enough to do it myself(if that'* even possible? Either way, thank you!).
