holy **** those are fun cars. My buddy just bought a new one and did a few basic mods....Did not get to drive it since I am not awesome at a stick (at least I am not going to **** the guy off lol) but 4wd launch is awesome. My truck was AWD (full time FWD) and with the 454 it had some power but nothing like a sti.

The ricer stories are hillarious You probably got a good idea what I'm talking about. Or even the corvette stories lol.

Either way I want one...it doesnt take much to make it a 12 daily driver. However I have a strong feeling the drivetrain will need to be rebuilt every 50k.

The regular WRX'* transmissions were a little delicate, but apprently the STi is pretty stout. Dunno.

Moral of that story, it'* the parents' fault for giving them fast cars and not enough guidance not to drink and act responsibly.

He got an STi just for being on the Honor Roll? Nice parents. Too bad they didn't give him common sense along with it

On another note, a buddy of mine mentioned that a brake job would cost a fortune on those STi'* (Brembo brakes). I wonder if that'* really true though.

They are cool, but I question the reliability of those motors.

so is that why Subaru has introduced heated bumpers so your hands don't get cold when you push it to the shop???
