Default Spyware

Ok I got some spyware on my machine in the last few weeks, and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of it.

Norton 2K5 will find it but can't delete it, MS Antispyware can only find 1 of them, and can't ever get it deleted. Lavasoft AdAware can find everything, but the same problem can't delete or quarantine it at all.

I've tried going through and finding the files themselves, and I either can't delete them, or I can delete them and it will just reload itself pretty much on my next restart. Also, anytime I try to force close any of the files it just opens right back up in the task manager before I could even realize it.

WTF do I have to do to get rid of this ****?

I downloaded a free sptware program at home that finds and reports them, but you have to buy the software that deletes them. I haven't done that yet.

PM me before 4:00 this afternoon if nobody gives you a solution before then and I'll try to remember to look up the name of it.

the best way of doing it without reinstalling is to put the hd on another computer(set up as an extra drive) and run your scan tools on the drive. Use more than one. I use pest patrol, ms, fprot, adware. the benefit of this is the offending files are not being used, so they can be deleted and won't copy themselves..
