True. 65 was the first year for the big block Corvette and it was a 396. The hottest engine option in 63 was fuel injection.

It'* not like they cut out the back seat & put subs in there, or chopped the top, or stuck a gigantor super charger out of the hood...it would be real easy to slap a coat of ticket-me red on it and be back in the game!
