Default speeding ticket?

does anyone know a good way to get out of a speeding ticket? I got a 66 in a 55. I want to get it dropped or a least reduced so that it wont go on my insurance. I have court on the 17th so i figured i'd ask now to try and get as many answers as possible.

you need to explain the entire situation...

also, usually, your first ticket does not show up on insurance

i was driving on HWY7 north about 9 going to look at a demo car and got f**ked by the state patrol. He didn't even ask if i know why i got pulled. He asked for my license and whent to his car and gave me the ticket. He didn't even give me time to explain. P.*. that cop gave his mom a speeding ticket

ok even though you explained it, you didnt give us any details that would help.

such as: the speed limit had just changed?

sounds like a standard pull over/ticket to me... I dont any reason why you should not have gotten a ticket

go to the courthouse on the court date. The prosecuter will see you showed up and probably offer a reduced ticket. If not , go to court, plead not quilty and wait for next court date.

i guess thats a slight reason to argue over, but still you were going 6 over even if it was 60mph :?
