Well I took my car 2 Sears Automotive... They only charge 50$ to put the hub and bearing assembly on.. so its like 190$ for the part and labor.. not bad?? WEll.. Im like Let me get an oil change to and a free tire roation since im spending 200$ The Salesman took the bait.. then the SOB Calls me, Sir, YOur cool needs a coolant system flush for 59.95 so I take the bait once again..

Did it really need to be flushed or were they just jerking you? If it needed to be flushed at least you got it done, right? :? Glad you got the bearings replaced.

Wanna buy some land in florida j/k. Dont beleive everything they tell you you should do. Personally, I would never take my car to a place to get work done that also sold furniture and the person helping me wasn't a professional but a salesman on commission. How did they know you needed a flush? They have a chart of everthing you should have done with the amount of miles or age of the car and they just try to sell.

Let'* see, yours is a 97? I believe it has the 100,000 mile Dexcool in it, however I would be very tempted to change it if it looked like it was in bad condition.

HINT... GMC has nothing to do with your car... Please say "Pontiac", dont drag GMC down with them... or say "GM"... I take it you bought this car used? Sold as is where is, no warrenty expressed or implied. I have no sympathy for someone who has nothing good to say about anything.

GMC isn't perfect, if anything my car'* in better shape then our 98 yukon, which is NOT neglected.
