Welcome aboard Tony! I agree the not making a fuss thing.... Usually it'* a cake and a nice dinner with my family. Next year I've been told I'm having a party... ugh!

I feel I need to clarify myself regarding this topic. I never implied having a big party and all the works. I meant to enjoy your day and make it special for you. For example, my birthday- I got to go someplace I have wanted to go for many years, I also got to sightsee soemwhere I've never been, and got to ride on a trolley (something I haven't done since I was 9 and was visiting San Francisco). It was a special day. I didn't have a party but it was one of the most special birthdays I've ever had.

I dont like all the hoopla about Bdays and the like. For me? The simpler the better. I used to like birthdays, but all that Ive been through in my short 34 years, have been ALLOT and well, I just would like a nice quiet non argumentive day with no major set plans and relaxation. See? Simple!!
