Unless it'* an SVTF... at which point, he didn't get it for the MPG.
Dude, I have to come heavily against the Fvckus. I'm sorry, but the first few years they had massive problems with fires, suspension failures(right-rear susp. just falling off at highway speeds), steering failures, and electrical gremlins. I know that they've worked out most of the problems, but I can't recommend that anyone buy a car with such a horrible history of problems. Truthfully, if you want a good small car that sips fuel and still gets decent performance, and can't stomach your local GM dealer, take a look at a Neon(stickshift, not auto), Civic, or, best, a Sentra. The Sentra may be a bit less reliable than the other two, but the perfomance factor is a lot higher.
Also, don't get a Mitsu. Now that the venerable 3.0L has been retired, their motors just don't have the reliability or power.

Meh, I'm really not to excited about the putting the gas in the SSEi part. Now that it'* mentioned, I may look for a Neon instead of the Focus, I like the Mopars better anyway. I'm not worried about problems, if I get a little car like that I'm gonna drive it until it starts giving me problems and get something else.
