A little history, hey this is the lounge section. Woodward Ave is a long established road in Detroit. At one time, back at the turn of the 20th century, there were 5 different Trolley and Interurban sets of tracks on what is now the modern day Woodward Ave.

One of these years I will visit my wife’* family to coincide with the Woodward Ave Cruise day. The event is the premier event of this type in the United States.

But seriously very nice pictures thank you for posting them.

Although one thing is for sure. Woodward can kind of suck during rush hour traffic.

there was said to be 40,000 cars cruising and showing on that weekend....
