Seems that some thoughtful individual decided my interior needed a little pick-me-up. So, a rather large and not so decorative rock was stragegically placed in my back seat... through the glass
Guess I'll be cleaning that up for the next two, maybe three years :? What'* wrong with people these days?

GRRRRRRRRRRRR. You have no idea how much that pisses me off! That kind of crap, along with stealing, really chaps my a$$. Several years ago some high school punks kicked a bunch of dents in the Star Chief my daughter was driving. Yeah, it was hard for someone unfamiliar with the car to know the difference 'cause it was pretty much a beater by then, but it still stews me to think about it. If I EVER find out who did it I will most likely extract a very un-Christlike revenge upon them. On the bright side, I do enjoy a few moments every now and then of dreaming of what I'd like to do to their Lexus, BMW, 350Z, whatever expensive car I hope they have if I ever find out who they are. Sorry about your damage, though, it really sucks.

Thanks for all the support everyone! It'* pretty disappointing to work so hard for something and then have some idiot come along and do this. It could have been much worse, but as it stands there is a small scratch on my left rear door, the door glass was broken, there is a tear in the leather of my front passenger seat and a scuff from the rock on my right rear door panel. A few other miscesllaneous things but that'* the bulk of it.
I'm not sure what the exact thoughts were. A couple of my work uniforms were taken but not even the good ones. They didn't steal my stethoscope which was sitting on the seat, nor did they take CD'* or anything else. I guess from now on absoulutely everything gets locked in the house unless I'm go to or from work. I don't even live in a neighbourhood where something like this happens very often.
Replacement glass from GM is 7-10 days away, aftermarket from a glass shop is 3-4 days. By some miracle, there was an auto wrecker in town that just happened to have one for $100.00. It'* going to cost me $175.00 to get the panel in the leather seat replaced. I've decided not to use my insurance since it really isn't that much money. I'm just glad the damage wasn't more severe.
Well... Off to install some glass.
