I've got the Buick, and a Dodge Shadow...
I guess the Buick is pretty close to the Bonneville, same platform and all...
Anyway, I used to have a 95 SSEi, but it fell prey to low oil pressure...twice...on two different motor... :?
Truthfully, if I swore off GM forever, I'd still come here, and go to meets, just to hang out...

I don't own a Bonneville(not by title, but I have enough parts for one). Never have. 1995 Thunderbird. Not really sure why they keep me around.... I guess I'm the tokin' Ford man? Or maybe it'* because I'm slower than they are and they like to pick on me for it sometimes....

I didn't own one between October of '06 and May of '07. I sold mine in Oct. and bought another in May of '07. IMO was a big mistake for me to sell my first one, BUT I did get one in WAY better shape, and at a good deal too! My car after this will most likely be a GM, I am a hardcore GM nut, and it will probably be all I own from now on.

You know, Pat and I spent quite awhile arguing about the body designations before he realized that what I was saying didn't contradict what he was saying.
It boils down this way...

91-96 Park Ave was a C-body a lengthened version of the H-body. Very few differences. They made the switch to the Series 2 at the same time as the H-body, but in 97, the Park Ave was a completely new car, and made the switch to the G-body(my VIN says 1G----------)Then in 2000, the Aurora, which was a G-body to start with, was redesigned, and the Bonneville and LeSabre joined it on the G-body platform. However, the Bonnie and LeSabre retained the "H" VIN body code.
If you look under a 2000+ Bonneville, you will find the same suspension, and a very similar subframe and floorpan. I can take any suspension piece from a Bonnie, or a LeSabre and swap it right over to my car. I can use all the engine mounts. I believe I can even use the subframe.

BTW, the old C-body PA was even closer to the Bonnie. Almost every non-cosmetic piece was exactly the same, except for the full air suspension.

Trust me John, I know where from I speak...one of the major mods I want to do (money permitting) is swap in a GXP suspension. All the important measurements are EXACTLY the same...

Just a funny thought. Thought I'd point out that the founder/owner of this wonderful club doesn't own a Bonne either.
At least, not that I know of.
