The best present I'll get this year is the presence of my family, friends, and wonderful fiance

and the shiny ring with the big sparkly rock that means I get to keep him for all the Christmases to come!

There are things that I would like for Christmas but know I wont' get. I know that I won't be getting anything this year though. Due to a divorce announced at thanksgiving my mom, brother and myself have decided to skip christmas this year. I am giving plenty though anyways.. a computer to my brother, some self-made stuff for my mom, nothing for my dad, and a gift certificate to a hotel for my aunt and uncle. Oh, and we're losing our home for Christmas too.

Merry Chritmas to you all though. I hope it'* a good one for you.

Sorry to hear about your circumstances. Sometimes outta hand things happen and we just have to roll with it. Stay close to your family and support each other. You will all go through some peaks and valleys but you will survive.

I won't get my car out of the shop and hate not having my own transportation!!!! On a good note, I got a $175 bonus from my boss and a crystal vase from a co-worker. Things in my world aren't perfect but I am keeping perspective- We are healthy, we are together, we will survive. And things could always be a whole helluva lot worse!!

I got what I thought I was getting from my mom...got a brand new dell laptop. Not the greatest but way more than I need. 1.6ghz, 1gb ram, 55gb hard drive, 128mb graphics card, CD-RW/DVD-Rom, and wifi. Should work great for doing autotap logging.

I also got a GM strut tower brace for my STE with the brackets from ZZP to go with it. I also got GMPP trailing arms for the STE as well. Plus I got the complete first season of dukes of hazzard. Other than that I got a $10 autozone gift card, and $50 BP gas card.

Edit: Oh yeah, also got a $20 speedway gas card from my sister. Got 50 cd-r'* as well. Also got some lottery tickets but none of them were winners at all.

So pretty good Christmas for me. I'm VERY happy!

I hope everyone else had a good Christmas as well!

Shawn

I got a wonderful photography book that has really opened my eyes to some simple techniques that I often overlook. I also got some leather gloves, a new wallet, a new electric razor, Meijer gift cards (best college student present ever), and the Star Wars III DVD.
