I left 20 minutes early today for my typical 1 hour commute and I arrived 20 minutes early! The roads were fine, with no snow. I could have slept that extra 20 minutes! The wind was fierce, though!

Now they're only calling for 1-2" in SE MI. I get so frustrated with the forecasters...it'* never accurate.

I will say, though, that as I look out my window here in Plymouth that it is snowing rather hard. All the grass is damn near covered and people are rolling in late. So much for the forecast!

The wind is terrible all over the Midwest. Here in the middle of Iowa it'* flat ground, 20 degrees actual temp, and the windchill has to be close to zero with these 40 mph winds. What a day to start final exams! Let me tell you, with the sun barely up at 7:00 a.m. and conditions like that I'd rather have my nosehairs pulled out than stand at a bus stop.

Just got back from my first exam. I was bundled up and I still froze. I haven't gotten used to the cold yet.
