Connecticut Gov. Malloy declared a state of emergency for a little while. For a time, I-84 was closed, the city of Danbury was closed, and all non-essential state personnel were ordered to stay home.
But, Dunkin Donuts and liquor stores remained open, thankfully.

Tough to tell that these are 5 or so foot piles.
Not only do I have a 5' plow on the Grizzly...I went out to the shed and brought the ole girl to the garage as I'll be giving it to a buddy. We were working on the pond aka skating rink.

I'm still a good 100ish miles from the shore. In the Pioneer Valley, we are shielded from much of the big storms that ravage the mountains of VT and NH. We've seen snow in the past and while winters have been more and more mild each year, I think the cycle is coming around again. That makes me happy because I'm not an electric snowbroom owning kinda guy.
