ooo finally the chance for a good year of skiing out west

Hopefully we get a lot of that out here...I would love to be able to ski for more than 4-5 days

Come to Orygun. We ski Mt. Hood YEAR ROUND. It'* a glacier. The US ski team trains there in fooking July and August.

Took that looking east from my driveway. Here'* one looking west toward Freemont Island in the Great Stink Lake (not taken yesterday!)

Every place has its own beauty...we don't have the trees or water here that you have back east. I miss that.

Wife made me start the heater last night - it got down to about 37*F. But my tomatoes seem to have survived.

Snow may be here, but it'* not really HERE - it'* still up there at the 6-7000 ft level. That'* OK. I'm hoping for a butt-load of snow, but not until Nov at the earliest!

All I can say is WELCOME TO MY WORLD!! We have had snow surrounding us for last week!!! It was last Monday that my dear son Andrew pointed that out to me.......I slapped him
