i'd go for both...sit-ups are gonna help ur upper...and leg lifts are gonna help target the lower...either way you're gonna need a combo of ab exercises to get the full torso in shape

I think sit ups or crunchies have always been the favorite... I belive leg lifts will help target other abdominal muscles that the sit up'* miss...

Why have a six pack when you can have a keg

BUt what about one of those shock therapy thingys I see on tv often, you just put htem on your belly and they shock the muscles?

Wonder if it works everywhere?

when we sold them where i work, the consensus was that it worked everywhere you could get it, but it was incredibly uncomfortable.

You know what that reminds me of? the movie "Jackass" they used the shocker thingy. If you don't know where, rent it.

Leg lifts defintely.
Crunches only really work the top of the stomach.
Leg lifts work the top but Really work everything else out better.
Make sure you keep your lower back against the floor. If I didn't my lower back would get really sore.
I got pretty close to an 8 pack doing leg lifts but then I just got lazy...
I'm just sticking with the 6 pack I get from twisting myself around on my bike.
