Good car.
One question how tall are you? I rode in one once, no leg room. My sister'* Mini has more space for the back seaters and it'* only a two door.

Great car. Anyone who calls it rice out of thebox, or says it'* a waste doesn't know what they're talking about. They can go in more conditions than a fwd bonnie can, and they handle a hell of a lot better.

Modding is endless, the community is HUGE, NAISOC is a wealth of knowledge, none of which can really be touched by any modern car group, except maybe LSx groups.

Downsides? They don't depreciate much because they're good, and in demand. They're also a smaller car then some people are used to. Early WRX and STi Transmissions also have a few weak gears, but new hard parts, or aftermarket stuff takes care of that if you blow it. Only a huge issue if you have gobs of power, and launch it like you mean it (good launches are BRUTAL in these cars).

Im from near the cities, but the area i live in sucks at plowing.... not to mention there are a lot of dirt roads to hit

im pretty short... im 5'9-5'10.. and im used to smaller cars...

tell me about it.. my buddy has an 03.. lets just say they should never be launched above 4100 rpms...

id rather go with a plain wrx tr than an sti.. they are too gaudy...

not my style but seems to be a fair price for a 1 owner. I will not knock subys I will never have one by choice but as long as they are kept respectable I will not bad mouth them. There is one here that well it has some money into it and it is all go fast money. not feeling the color but that can be changed. If I were you I would throughly look it over and I heard they are not fun to work on but I could be wrong
