I read in some credible source a long time ago that 80% or more of Americans never live more than 50 miles away from their home town. This thread is proving that stat.

Anyway, I've lived all over the state of Michigan. Milford, Walled Lake, Mt. Pleasant, Holland, Vassar, now Grand Blanc.

Grand Blanc is 45 miles from the Walled Lake/Milford area.

Born in Syracuse, NY raised in East Syracuse. Basically halfway between Buffalo and Albany along the Rt 90 Thruway.

I now live ~300 miles away in Waterbury, CT. (Don't like Waterbury)

I'm WAY off the mark...

Born and raised in Mt. Juliet Tennessee, where we learnt things like tractor mekaniks, shotgun shootin', and CB radio operashun. Oh, and Alvin C. York. Left there in 1997.

97-98 Pensacola FL.
98-2000 Guam (Yes, there is such a place)
00-02 Back to Pensacola FL
02-05.5 Daytona Beach FL
05.5-06.1 - Orlando FL
06.1-06.7 Back to Daytona
06.7-07.3 Back to Orlando
07.3-now Port St. John Fl.

I'll go back to Tn when there is a job market for my, expertise, if you will

the tiny town of Malta, Illinois. I've lived in DeKalb County in Illinois for all but a year and a half of my life (and even then, i could cross the road to go back into DeKalb County).
