Where is the best place to add a grounding point to reduce the static shock my wife'* GA deals out everytime I get out?

hahaha, that is soo funny, my car does that too, i just never thought anything of it...

its kinda annoying, i wanna know too if anyone can figure it out..

Get some grounding strap and attach it to the chassis dragging on the ground under the car.

Rubber tires are insulators. Give it continuity. It may actually save your life some day if a power line ever lands on your car.

You'll never see it. And it works. There used to be a steel-impregnated rubber strap available for this in the same installation application. I've seen them before.

I don't know for sure, but wouldn't the electricity not even go through your car if it can't go to ground (aka because the tyres insulate the car)?
