My brother had a car like this, except in dark blue.

He just destroyed the thing. Started with a stripped timing gear. After we did some major engine rebuilding, and upgrades, he blew out a Weber racing clutch, and then over-heated the engine, which blew out a head gasket. That'* when I stopped working on it for him.
