Senior Prank leads to Arrest & Stardom

This is a story from my hometown... I know these kids...my kids know these kids..
As a Senior Prank, four seniors who have formed a band together, set up and played on top of the school for the kids as then came in one morning. Everyone thought it was cool except the Principal who arrested them and banned them from attending their graduation ceremonies. This has now made them local celebrities from being on tv, in newspapers, radio talk shows, and just last night, they were the guest performers in Buffalo'* Thursday In The Square concert series.
It wouldn't surprise me if these kids ended up playing on Letterman'* rooftop...which would be way cool. They are good kids - not deliquents - straight A students involved in sports and music... the board of education is now asking the Superintendent to drop the charges.
