Swapped over here, along with a 5-spd trans to replace the auto that came with the 7M I think (since it is a 3.0 GT or whatever)

But but but, there'* no real common turbo manifold you can just slap on the LN3/27/36/67 like you can with the 5M

Yeah, I know, the aftermarket sucks. We got headers for us, and the suspension game is just beginning to catch up with coilovers being developed.
Yeah, they may have had a turbo mani that would bolt right up, but they blew head gaskets enough without the turbo, lol.

Eh, they're nice, but this sucker is THE car. Hands down, this thing is tops on my list of cars I dream of being able to own. It trumps anything else, from any country, or any maufacturer.

IMHO, of course...

Sorry to bust your chops, but as much as I like the GNX, it'* not the end all and be all. A MkIV Supra or a Skyline GTR would hold their own against it on the drag strip, and destroy it in a slalom, etc.

...not the 5M... mostly the 7M.

The GNX is awesome, I just wouldn't ask it to turn. Supra'* the new drag strip ***** too, replace a turbo and you're into the 10/11'* just like that

Hmm, Skyline or GNX...?

I'd have to take both.

The GNX is legendary and still fast compared to today'* sports cars.

The R34 has that almost exotic appeal to it, and it fast on every level possible, on straight or curvy roads.

The GNX may not be the fastest anymore, or more agile (though, when I had my regal, i was really impressed with the handling after I put a real set of tires and wheels on it), but, when you look at every other car from 1987 - 1995 maybe, its damn impressive. Hell, the chassis on a GNX dates back to the 60'*, not much changed, as well as the engine, we all know how old the 231'* are. That is a low-tech car, with some serious high-tech performance. About the only thing that was really advanced on it was the electronics (for the time). Multiport or sequential FI is common nowadays.

most forget that the early skylines, supras, 3000gts, and NSX'* where designed not for the rice world but as a foriegn muscle car all four listed are almost as heavy or is as heavy as a grand prix and sport more horse power then a GP too these car revolutionized the world of car customizing and shouldnt be thought of as rice but more as a foriegn muscle car or sports car

personally i would take a supra with a 2JZmotor or a skyline R34 with the RB26DETT motor before id ever own a honda civic or those wannabe domestic ricers

Third generation Supra was an absolute pig... in the 3800+lb range. 3000GT was north of 4000lbs, I think.

And about as reliable as a Lada...(the 3000GT/GTO/Stealth, that is. Hell, any Mitsu intended to go fast save for the Evo)
