Default Saw a 98 bonneville with its hood open at sears.

I was out and around with my father and stepmom today going to kansas city, walking around, having brunch, then leaving to go home. We stop by sears to use a 25 dollar card that was about to expire on some new jeans. I rode in seeing this nice green Bonne across the parking lot with a big truck next to it. i asked my dad if i can go talk to the guy while he was in sears. he said yes, so i went along. I went up to him and greeted him while he was working. he said hello and i asked what the problem was. he was telling me about his brother in law and how he abused the car beforehand. he got it and gave it to his daughter to use. anyway, he was changing the sparkplug because it was misfiring on his daughter. He told me he didn't have his diagnostics, so he just assumed it was the spark plug. i asked him if i could give a try at tugging the harness out (for you people with 92-99 bonnes, the wire that covers the spark plug). i did that, and then i went about loosening the spark plug for him. i thought about you guys at gm forums and asked "could you record me doing this" he said yea, so he recorded this bit

It was pitch black the spark plug was, and he was surprised it even carried a spark. He was talking to me asking if i ever did this kinda thing. i honestly said no, and he was like "well shoot, your doing me a good favor". after screwing the new sparkplug in, i had trouble putting the harness back on. he did that, and at that point, my parents were coming by in the cherry to pick me up. i told them "I'm almost done! we're about to fire her up!" So he got the harness back on and i asked him "could i fire it up?" he said sure, and i went about starting it up. keys were in the ignition, so i started it. heres the video...

My god...when i stepped foot into that thing...i was AMAZED. it was so damn comfortable and soft. I loved the feel of it, the comfort, and the space and room of it. she fired right up and man, did she puuurrrr! This was a great experience for me. i was glad to help the guy get the last spark plug out, and he really appreciated it. He gave me a snap-on beany and cap. he also gave me a snap-on calender. He was a great guy and i really liked how he let me help. it was a fantastic experience.

After this all happend, i got a pen and paper out and gave him some info on the forum. i gave him my name, some info, and to join! He was a great guy and i hope he sees this.

Hope you enjoyed this story!
