Watching the big game today, and there is this new saturn commercial (saw it last week too). You see all these various saturns driving around with no body, but with EVERYTHING else. They talk abouit it building it safe first, then you see the whole lineup coming up over a hill with the body panels saying then you make it beautiful. Not too shabby, not as cool as pontiacs flying thru some salt flats to James Brown, but hey. We can't ALL drive cool cars!

I know if youve watch any tv latly you've seen the new f-150s commercial, damn they shoulda spent the 100mil (that they spent on the commericials) on styling.

They don't look too bad. They look much better then the old ones i believe, and damn they beefed up their engines finally. Dunno about those trannies though. I've never liked ford interiors either.

I agree, the previous generation looked too soft for a pickup (too curvy). I still like the Dodge Rams over all tho

I saw the Saturn commercial too. Good idea, but as far as "beautiful" I don't think they're that hot looking, IMO...especially the SUV.

Seen the new Ion? The insturment cluster is in the middle of the dash. I sat in one at the car show, and was NOT IMPRESSED. Seats weren't very supportive, weird materials, and just a messed up layout (like the dash). It'* supposed to give you an open road feel but it'* just annoying.

LMAO. I've seen it from the outside but that'* as close to it as I'll ever get.

They're coming out with two Scions (from Toyota) soon, you've probably heard. They're the UGLIEST cars I've ever seen, (Toyota Echo-like) They have the cluster including the speedo in the middle of the dash. To me it doesn't make any sense to have it in the middle. They are trying to market them to younger people, but I'd be surprised if young people would want to drive ugly a$$ cars that have only 1.5L, 108hp and do the 1/4 mile in 18 seconds. I saw Motor Week yesterday morning and was NOT impressed by these POS'*.

But I'm sure there will be some young people stupid enough to buy them and rice them out to 135 hp and make them even uglier
