Sad Sad Mod Boy
Once again Jim, I am sorry for your huge loss, your mother'*, your brother'* and your sister'* loss, as well as everyone your father touched in his life. For the short time I knew him I had no doubt in my mind he was a good father, husband, and a caring, extremely kind man. I am grateful I got a chance to meet him. I cannot believe, and do not understand, why such a good man I had seen only a week ago, was taken away from you and your family.
I looked at the pictures that filled the walls of your house the last time I was there, and saw what a proud and happy family you have. And the past times I was at your house I saw a relationship you had with your dad that I wish I had with mine. I will take your words into consideration as I am seeing much more now, that life is too short and fragile to be taken for granted.
My prayers are with you and your family. Take care Jim, and remember we are always here for you.
-Peter

Jim, I know it'* true when i say this. Everyone who has been a part of this site, those from the past who left for various reasons, those here now, and those who will be here, and won't know this happened; we feel for you! You have given us so much, and been THE BEST (without a doubt) Moderator i've seen on any website. It only shows how well your dad raised you as a kid, and was a great friend.
My deepest sympathies and hopes go forwards to your family, friends, and you, in your time of loss. It sounds like you've already taken the first steps in coping with it, and i'm sure you will find much more in the days, months and years ahead.

Well you know we ( Renee and I) are here for you. I know I am talking to you on MSN but had to post here too.
The way I see it is that it seems like the nicest most respectable and loved people are always the ones that die young. I have yet to figure that out.
As you are aware I myself am going through a little hard time and we figure only days left. ( my grandmother). I may not be around for a few days and will explain later but don't want to take away from this post.
Just think of it this way, now he can be watching you and helping you in ways he never could before.
Alright time for more kleenex!
Take Care!

The integrity of the members on this forum is second to none. Its wonderful to read the words of compassion, sympathy and love.
Just goes to show you...I almost lost faith in the internet.
My dad also knew how much I love this forum and boosted about it to almost anyone...he watch me mod god away many times...now he does all the time
I anticipate large crowds at the funeral home and funeral mass. My brothers hockey team will all be in attendance wearing their home whites and a black arm band. Classy move on the part of the coaching staff. Even his work closed down today, he was such an influential person at Yamaha, boy he will be missed by thousands
