What are good brand name'* for a wired router? Mine keep braking and I do not know any. any ideas?

pick up a wrt54g.

V4.0 or earlier, flash the firmware with dd-wrt and you now have a $600 router for $60

netgear aint bad never had an issue, u can get em for 30 bucks on e-bay

whats a "wrt54g"? sorry not that great with these things
...

I guess am going to have to go pick myself up a linksys tomorrow....

also I'm guess its the router that bad. I can sign onto the internet with jus the modem but when i hook everything up to the router not one computer can sign on to the internet. so do you guys argee with me that its the router thats bad?

most likely. have you tried resetting it with the reset button? it should restore factory settings...

wrt54g is just the model name of a linksys model. it will say that on the box.

yup... even unplugged it for a night... restarted every computer, reseted the modem.. tried everything and got nothing.... :?
