You wish the masterpiece collection looked that good, no that'* a Yamato 1/48 scale, best existing rendition of a valkyrie, period, it'* even better than any model kits because there still arent any model aside form customs that can successfully transforming without remoivng the legs or having big ugly swing bar son the side. the 'masterpiece' has the swing bars, is of poor quality construciton and engineering, biggest hype in history.

they are on ebay, just type Yamato 1/48 i dont believe that it comes in that color scheme, that particular one is a custom, the color schemes curently available are white with red and black trim, yellow and black trim, yellow and blue trim, red trim, and grey low vis

http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/...oys_yamato.htm here you go, examples of a few of the yamato valkyries, the 1/60 scale has more variety in models but they are smaller and less detailed anything yamato will be higher quality than the 'masterpiece' ones

WOW this takes me back. I have 8 VHS tapes I made when it was FIRST on! I still break them out every so often. Also have the 2hr pilot for Robotech 2.
Funny still have 2 Invids made by Matchbox. A red scout and a purple trooper. Also the transformer'* rip off of the valkyrie. Also a green "Alfa" fighter.

Yeah, the only Anime that was before Robotech/Macross with mech was Gundam. When did that come out? 78/79?
