Is it really the black colour Bill or the type of coating that transfers the heat.

The Whipple doesn't appear to have that wrinkle black finish you have. It looks smooth.

That thing is TINY... Is the rotor casing even as large as an M62?

Whipples are twin screws, which are the most efficient of the main three SC designs. A few W body guys had gotten into them over the last few years.

But i still can't get over the size of that thing, for a 5.7L V8..

No, it'* not wrinkle-finished, but it is rough. And no, that'* not where I got the idea from.

Jason, the size of that dinky POS is the first thing that hit me between the eyes when I popped the hood.

My Roush unit as well as current whipple units are so much larger. I guess that is a pretty early model on that truck?

Based on the information I've found so far:

1. It is a Whipple. EARLY whipple. More than 4 or 5 years old.

2. It is a kit.

What I assume:

1. It isn't a kit for this large of a displacement.

2. It'* too damn small for this displacement.

3. It runs like ****.

That'd probably work nicely on a 1.3L suzuki sidekick.... Wonder if he'd sell the whipple... I'd like to add a little oomph to my push mower.
