RIP to the first bonneville I fell in love with
I first fell in love with the Bonneville when a friend'* parents got one back in 1993. It was driftwood exterior and interior. My friend and his wife inherited the car from his parents.
Well, the bad news is that it had an episode about 2 days back

The good news: my friend'* wife walked away from the accident.

nice to see another Bonneville doing its job safety-wise...thats the most important thing.
i still mourn my car rather often, mostly everytime i pull out and have to rev over 4k to get my freaking car to move
i miss low-end torque....i miss it so..and you never forget your first car, and all the stupid things you did in it.

Thats actually how i fell in love with Bonnevilles too, i was 8 or 9, a friends parents bought a 1993 white SSE, I loved it, my friends dad (parents split up) sold the SSE in 2000 for a brand new SSEi...hence i rode in that and was like wow, i need me one too
Glad to see they are alright..that poor SE looks pretty mangled.

My first Bonneville experience was an '88 white SSE that a family friend had from when I was a wee one up until a couple years ago. Didn't exactly fall in love with it, but I always thought it was a cool car.
That SSE was since replaced by a 40th GTP and a '94 Caddy STS.
