up here in N.D. we have E85, which is 85% ethanol, corn farmers need to make some money too... never used it though.

We have 10% ethanol in all our gas save stuff for ATV'*, race gas, what have you. They're pushing for double that in the coming years in the capitol right now. It'* not bad at all, and making cars run on E-85 is easy. MSU Mankato is one of the forefronts to E85 research.

I've heard their Vortec V8 running on E85 on an engine dyno. Damned if that wasn't the best noise ever (Small block chevy)

We don't have it in Michigan, but we sure do pollute. Ever been to Detroit? Flint?

Ever been to Gary?

Yes, I have been to Detroit.. not Flint, though. I guess I shouldn't say that we don't pollute. But, at least we don't pollute enough for the Government to push Reformulated Gas on us.

Yea, I've been to Gary.

I don't think many states will use this type of gas unless the feds start to coerce them to, ie. taking away highway funding unless they use that gas.

Plus it just costs more, and many state governments don't want that.
