You weren't alive during the 80'*?

I mean, I was born in 86 so I consider myself a child of the 90s, but still.

I found it interesting that 30 years later, MPG has not gone up, maybe even down a bit. I know they computed it a little less accurately back then, but would have thought 30 years later MPG would be much higher.
