I know NOTHING about Luminas. Imagine my surprise when we got it up on a lift to change the oil and work on the brakes when I found this:

(ignore the draining oil )

Another thing I've always loved about this car is the condition of everything underneath it. Yes, there'* rust, but it'* very minimal. Keep in mind that this car is a 1995.

Betty got an oil change, air filter, fuel filter, oil filter (duh), new calipers, and freshly cut rotors. No more wonky brakes! The fuel filter looks to have been on there since 1995...same as the exhaust I love my husband'* work. They let us use their shop and their car lift!

Aaaand what'* a shop without a shop dog...

For reference, an older picture of the outside of the car:

She'* about 800 miles away from turning over 70,000 miles.

Yeah, that thing likes to rev. Mine shifted at 6000 on the 1-2 and 2-3. Fun to drive I'd say.
