I miss the scenery and grandness of the Rocky Mountians. We do have mountains here (much smaller) with plenty creeks, falls, game animals but not on the scale of Colorado. What I don't miss is the large California atmosphere Metropolis Denver has evolved into from the quaint large friendly town it was when I first got there in '69 as a teenager. I from this area of NY/Pa originally and have never looked back since I returned in the late 80'*.

I was going to start my new job today, but it got snowed out, so my planned four-day unemployment is now up to five.

After a restless night and morning, I spent the afternoon shoveling out my girlfriend'* driveway and brushing off the cars. Drove around town, then went back home. Forgot my lasagna. I'll grab it when I go back there next year.
