I walked out of the store behind her and without saying a word, pulled the car over beside hers and hooked the hose up in the trunk and then to the spare she was putting on. It didn't have a hole in it,just low on air.
She was still standing on the side walk talking to someone that had walked out of the store with her and she looked over and saw what I was doing. She walked over and I told her it would take a minute and I'd have her all fixed up.
We started talking and in 2 or 3 minutes the tire was full and I unhooked the hose and started rolling it back up. She asked me if she owed me anything for putting air in her tire. I told her nothing at all.,just remember me in a prayer. She gave me a hug and told me that there needed to be more people willing to help someone in need.

These were nice stories to read
. I'm glad their are still good people out there. I have never had the chance to help another motorist out in any way, but when the time does come up I will

I had a strange act of kindness happen to me a while ago.
I was driving the bonne at night, and a lifted truck pulled up behind me, at a red light and the headlights were shining just right so they hit my side mirror and right in my eyes, so i put my hand on my mirror so i could block the light, next thing i know the guy behind me turns his lights off. I thought well that was nice, give him a little wave, and when the light turns green he just keeps driving with his lights off, i gave him another little wave trying to tell him its ok to turn your lights on. He turned his running lights on but not his headlights. We drove for probably two miles down the road with his running lights on. Then we came to another stoplight, i turned he didn't. Right after i turned he turned his headlights back on, and gave me a little wave.

My turn.
I was at my Mobil gas station today, getting a refill on my mug, and a lady asked me if I had jumper cables. Well I sure did so went out to jump her car and then realized that wasn't her problem when she turned her car on. He headlights were nice and bright.
It was a Saturn SL1 and I've never worked on one before but Imanaged to follow the rusty battery cable to a fuse/relay center. Popped the cover off and checked the fuses and relays. I had to use my knife to scrape some corrosion off of these two 30amp fuses, reseated them, and the car started just fine.
I advised her to get the terminals & battery cables cleaned up, esp if she knew anyone mechanically inclined..
The girls at the gas station called me the "10 minute wonder"
LMAO
now thats noteriety
Man I hope the forget that one quick, we'll see tomorrow I guess.

I helped a lady out one time, she was in a 97 SSEi, and I heard it trying to start, so I walked over and asked her "what'* wrong?" She was like "Oh this damn car starts when it wants too, i'm sick of it." Sure enough I turned the key on, everything was nice and bright, and the starter was going click click click click. So I pulled my toolbox out, cleaned her battery cables, tightened them down real good and it fired right up! Her eyes lit up with happiness, and she tried to give me $20.00, I turned it down.
Awww..Keep this thread going it has such a nice vibe to it. I have this tendency to always help people when in need...i just love doing it...no matter what it is i will help anybody that is in need...Now i would like to note i am a strong believer in karma. In the last couple of days i have been purchasing numerous items and overpaying, this has happened for 4 days straight. A perfect example would be last nite...i went to the local shell tossed about $20 of gas in the tank and proceeded to go inside and pay the clerk. At this point i would like to note the gas station was packed with people and their was a pretty big line up. I got to the clerk pulled out two 10 doller bills and tossed it to the clerk.
I run out to the car as i am in a hurry to meet this girl and jump in and i hear this voice yelling at me, i look over its coming from the speaker by the pump....i look at the clerk thinking Oh god he thinks i short changed him or something....i run inside and to my suprise i gave him 30 dollers instead of 20....two 10 doller bills got stuck together somehow. I look at the clerk smiling and said, you know you could have just pocketed that money rite? He looks over at me smiling and says Yes...but that wouldn't be the right thing to do. I honestly just wanted to give him the money after that...to go out of his way and call me back to give me my $10 was just a great feeling of appreciation. Really does give you that warm feeling inside.
Again i would like to apalogize if i am off topic here and just rambling on.
