Default Rain X, like it or hate it?

Drove 250+ miles today..every bit of it with the wipers on HIGH in heavy rain. I tried some rain x yesterday that you just add to the washer fluid. I couldnt tell much difference. The wipers were a lot quieter though

Hi Kennginn! congrats BTW on future fatherhood. Its generally been a good experience for me so far...but you will worry far more than you ever thought possible. I have some rain x that you polish on too...tried it on my truck but didnt have time to do it right and never opened the bottle again. I sure coulda used something better than what I had today LOL

i use it. it does great handling water, but it makes my wipers "jump" or kind of bounce across the windshield- not as smooth as without it, but, i dont' have to use them as much either... Any suggestions?

Dump the Rain-X and try No-Touch Rainshield. Spray it on while it'* raining, let the wipers spread it. Lasts longer, easier to do, no rags.

I've used it. It works as an additive, but not by itself. BTW.....little secret.....Rain-X washer fluid is flammable.
