Default question about a 95 riviera?

Today i was looking at a 1995 buick riviera . It had 77,000 miles on it .well heres my question . When I turned on the engine it sound ok but wheni looked under the hood I heard a slighty nock from the supercharger. It sounded like a peeble bouncing around in the supercharger . I'm assuming thats a bad thing but Im wondering is it worth buying .

oh the guy wants $2,500 for it.

I have the SC off my Boss'* car sitting on the floor by my desk right now. Noise at idle is simply the SC nosedrive coupler. A cheap fix, should take 4-6 hours, and under $100. Use it to dicker on the price.

Good car, but it lacks something important......a boost gauge!

Yes... yes it does. and a volt gauge, and oil pressure. It only has the basic gauges and then just dummy lights. Also it should have a DIC considering it was the most expensive car offered by Buick at the time. Doesn't make any sense at all to me why the RIv doesn't have one but the Regal does.
