This is a software issue. I have the VPN IM Softphone on my work computer. In order for the Softphone to remain active, IM Communicator has to remain running. When IM crashes, so does the Softphone and then I experience the same things you have.

Yeah my IT told me reason it drops is cuz my network latency lol. i was like NO now when the phone freezes and gets choppy i can see that being true but for it to drop NO lol. so i hope he calls me back tonight cuz i told him its dropping like software malfunctions. Bad part about VPN is these kinda things

its the 2nd time i had the client loaded cuz first time it had issues and was fixed for a few days. The actual vpn is something called VMware and the soft phone is some crappy TOSHIBA software

I Putzed around the Toshiba website and it sucked as well.

no it goes through a head set, if i could get the actual phone to work it would come through a real phone but the IPU cant register. I talked to the IT and he says its interruption in the network and the phone doesn't handle lag real well so it RANDOMLY does stuff that he cant explain, basically hes saying he dont know and toshiba is a crappy brand
