If 2 same sex people get married, who takes the last name? I do not support it but i was reading the headline in the Chicago Sun-Times and that :?: popped in my head.

I don't know what the big deal is. I've had the same sex with my wife for years now. And she took my last name despite the same sex issue.

hehehe, as a fellow married man, there are so many places I could go with that, however time and tact restraints apply here

Maybe they sound out the names to see whose sounds better, OTOH I have heard of rare instances where a man takes the WOMANS last name, so I guess nothing is set into stone, except maybe the Ten Commandments

I would rather take the mans name than let him take mine. It would seem to unnatural.

I think they just use both names...or combine them. Don't ask me how I know this
