Default PS2 and games...

I finally got a PS2. I had a few bucks to spend, saw one at the store, and finally said what the hell. Now that I have it, I need some games. I picked up the following so far:

GT3
Arcade pack (old school games like Joust!)
Madden 2004
ATV Fury 2
Fight Night (Boxing one, roomate bought it)

What are some other really good games for the PS2? I don't like the goary ones very much, but I like the action games and classic games. Any suggestions?

Spiderman, I just like hearing Bruce Campbell'* witty humor.
I like RPG'*, don't wear out my hands. But some of the others I've enjoyed:
Devil May Cry, Robotech: Battlecry(< Avatar ) Whiplash

need for speed underground.. too bad it'* all import.. but you can drifting points.. and street race where you have to do the perfect shifts..

Action games also covers.. well.. bout most games that RPG doesn't cover.. can you narrow it down a bit more for us??

I don't like 1st person shoot em game.

splinter cell.. its an action game that requires stealth and using your head stead of just shoot and kill em all.. ( even though I try to kill everyone in that game.. hee hee ) The 2nd splinter cell isnt that great from all the reviews I"ve heard

Along those same lines, you HAVE to try Socom or Socom II. You control your team of Navy Seals with voice commands, communicating via the included headset/mic combo. The levels, background music, and sound effects are so realistic, you'll think you are in the middle of a Tom Clancy story. Very similar to the Rainbow Six / Rogue Spear series (only better) if that means anything.
