I think it is great that you both found each other.

flame me if you like but I think promise rings are a crock. Its just another thing created by people to get you to spend money. Just like cards for everything, I may just be being jaded but I think it sure says something sad about society when you have to show your love through a material item. What does it say about a girl who demands a promise ring, does she not have confidence in you to eventually propose, I wont be getting my girlfriend( when I get one ) one just my everyday little things will show her I love her.

I think TW has a point Ratmfan! You get more with honey than you do vinegar.

Gotta agree w/ Justind23, actions show love, stuff doesn't. If you want to give someone a promise ring, by all means go ahead. If she is DEMANDING it, that'* a different story. IMHO, REAL queens don't act like Princesses.

LMAO! I've never heard that before...and, despite the nickname, I like the quote--granted (as some will tell you) I've earned the title. :P

<---*snickers*

I have a promise ring nightmare. The only girl I wanted in high school...well her and I became friends in Grade 13 Calculus class, until the idiot BF found out and got her a "promise" ring to keep her with him

I wonder how Danielle is doing
